Her Holiness Sangyum Rigzin Wangmo was the consort of H.H. Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche.

Recognized as a manifestation of White Tara and of Yeshe Tsogyal, she was a wisdom being Dakini who was instrumental in prolonging Rinpoche’s life and in ensuring that the Tersar Teachings flourish.

She spent the last years of her life in retreat at our very own Yeshe Nyingpo Center in NYC.

Upon dissolving her Awareness into Dharmanakaya, she stayed in a state of Thuk Dam and displayed many auspicious signs in the most profound manner, exemplifying the great meditative power that Buddhist practitioners are capable of displaying at such moments.

Semo Lhanzey-la

Semo Lhanzey-la is in a state of Thukdam.

As per the instructions of Kyabje Dudjom Yangsi Sangye Rinpoche, we will be observing the Kather Dorsem on weekdays and the Dorsem Chopa on the weekends,  including the Troma at some point.

This will take place at our retreat center upstate (Orgyen Chö Dzong) for 49 days.

It was Semo’s last aspiration to see Yangsi Rinpoche set foot in our center in Yeshe Nyingpo before her demise.

After he did and saw her she entered Parinirvana the next day.

Requesting for Volunteers

We’re requesting for volunteers to help assist in our continued hard work toward renovating Yeshe Nyingpo. The renovations themselves will be completed tomorrow Sunday July 7th, and so we’re asking for help with the cleaning duty that will follow the next day (July 8th Monday) to finish everything up. We’d be grateful for any help you can offer us at this time.

For those interested, the work will begin starting from 10 AM on Monday July 8th. Volunteers are free to drop in at any time to provide help.

Thank you.

Gratitude For Your Support

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chen and family for the generous contribution of $100,000 (one hundred thousand) that we received today for our projects, which is one of many that they have always supported us with in the past.

My sincere thanks to the Ditzler family for the generous contributions that they’ve already made for the Guru statue and for the $10,000 that we received in addition.

As late as this is, I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone from around the world who contributed to my father’s dechod, to the Bhutanese Troma group, Lama Yeshe’s Troma group, and Jamtso and family.

I’d also like to thank the Karmawrong community for their continued help with our projects and all the renovations and constructions here at Yeshe Nyingpo and OCD, which are still ongoing.

My thanks to the Bhutanese (Lopen Lulu, Lopen Tandin, and Ugyen) who are helping me with the painting of the main gate at Orgyen Chö Dzong, which is still underway.

Thanks also to Jamtso and family who have always been a source of support for us and for donating the paint for this project amongst other things.

I’m also thankful to Maya Didi for her support.

A special mention goes out to Lama Pema and Lopen Lulu.

If I’ve forgotten to mention anyone, please forgive me.

I’m now humbled and happy for all the support we’ve received in fulfilling my father’s wishes and for the new projects that have begun.

I want those who help in their own way to know that even the smallest contribution of your time and effort is always deeply appreciated—like by our staff members and Sangha members in general and in particular people like Samten, Deki, Dimitri, Pema, Brian, Fay, Lulu , Richie, Quoc, and Marcos who come to clear up the temple after Tsok or come to help setup things, or the ones who plant flowers like Asia, and the ones who clean in general.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you because I need you all to understand that without all of you, I wouldn’t have been able to do all of these things.

Please understand that all of this this is not for me, but in keeping with the aspirations of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche that these places, Yeshe Nyingpo and OCD, will be a source of refuge for the present and future generation and also for the Dudjom Tersar to flourish.

I promise to serve the Dharma as best as I can and as long as this life permits.
Please remember that I’m here not to walk in front of you but with you always.

With much love,
